Together with God: A Journey Through Grief
12.00
This book is an account of the author's sojourn through a pilgrimage that
brought her out of the depths of despair into the realization that life
could, indeed, be good again. When she finally embraced widowhood and became
comfortable within its confines, she was able to liken it to the stages
of growth and development of a c hild,
and hence, her suggestions for the Chronological Stages of Widowhood emerged.
In addition, the chapter on "Work Ethics or Workaholic" explores
the all too common problems many couples, particularly those of the clergy,
face--how to do their jobs with integrity but not let them become all-consuming
to the detriment of health and the exclusion of family. The author states
that one of the purposes in writing this book is to look at these possibilities.
